Children's Work

Home Baking Maths

At Roberton Primary School we offer our pupils a broad, balanced, coherent and progressive curriculum. One of our aims is to create a happy and safe environment in which each child has an opportunity to develop their full potential.

It is recognised that all areas of the school add to the learning environment and we are continuing to use the garden area as an “outside classroom”.

Children are encouraged to become involved in their own learning. We actively promote the Assessment is for Learning programme. The children soon become familiar with terms such as W.A.L.T. & W.I.L.F.

Although still following the 5 - 14 National Guidelines we are striving to develop A Curriculum for Excellence in all that we do.

We aim to develop the 4 capacities in partnership with parents and carers and to enable all stakeholders within the school community to feel actively involved in the life of the school.

We believe that every child has the right to the best possible education we can give them. We strive for the highest attainment for every child and also to recognise the many achievements children make in their lives happens both outside and inside school.

Structured play helps us to extend our learning in a fun way.
